AMAZING LUXOR & THE VALLEY OF THE KINGS Adult  $199/Child $139

The Luxor temple complex is a must-see site for all lovers of history and archaeology and is the destination of this full-day excursion. Begin with boarding a coach for a 4-hour drive through the desert to reach the west bank of the Nile river and the city of Luxor, standing on the ancient site of Thebes, the capital of the pharaohs in their golden age. As you travel to this iconic site, you will have sights of the mortuary temples at Deir el-Bahari, including the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the statues of Amenhotep III, also known as the Colossi of Memnon, where a photo stop is scheduled. The visit to the Valley of Kings will enable you to visit 3 royal tombs before taking a break in a five-star hotel for a buffet lunch. The tour continues with a visit to the Temple of Karnak, a major site of ancient worship, where you will be welcomed by approx. 40 sphinxes on what remains of the ancient Avenue of the Sphinxes. You will marvel at Hypostyle Hall, with its huge columns and the Sacred Lake. Another brief photo stop at Luxor Temple rounds the tour off before you return to Safaga and your ship. You will also have an opportunity to haggle your way to a souvenir at a vibrant Egyptian bazaar or in a Papyrus Institute. Please note: this tour includes extensive periods of walking on uneven path, gravel and stone surfaces with steps inside the Tombs at the Valley of the Kings as well as Karnak Temple. This tour is unsuitable for guests with walking difficulties; sunscreen, a hat and comfortable shoes recommended. No stops scheduled during coach transfers, but toilet facilities are available on the coach. The use of cameras, camcorders as well as cell phone to take photos or videos is forbidden inside the Valley of the Kings. The Valley of the Kings ticket includes entry of 03 Tombs; it does not include visits to the tombs of Tutankhamun or Ramses V or any other Tombs that carries an additional fee. Guests with any type of food intolerance are required to communicate it to the Shore Excursions Office at least two days before the call. Drinks included in the lunch: mineral water, coffee or tea.

SUBMARINE EXPERIENCE & SHOPPING Adult $89/Child $62

The underwater world of the Red Sea is a habitat for a huge variety of multi-colored fish and other aquatic wildlife, all supported by an extensive coral reef located in Egypt’s coastal waters. This leisurely half-day tour now gives you a chance to spend some time off the ship and take a closer look at this fascinating world yet stay bone-dry at the same time. An approx. 1-hour coach ride will first take you from Safaga to the beautiful Sindbad Resort Hotel in Hurghada. From there, an approx. 20-minute sea leg by motorboat will bring you to the submarine platform, where you will be briefed before boarding the vessel. Equipped with camera-friendly panoramic windows, the underwater craft will descend to a depth of about 22 meters and then take you on a 30-minute trip around the Red Sea’s magical aquatic universe, offering you amazing views of the reef’s many flamboyant inhabitants. After enjoying the underwater world, You will also have an opportunity to haggle your way to a souvenir at a vibrant Egyptian bazaar before taking the return journey to Safaga’s port.

SEASCOPE SEMI SUBMARINE EXPERIENCE & SHOPPING Adult $89/Child $62

Enjoy the beautiful under water of the Red Sea without getting wet. One hour drive approximately from Safaga port to Hurghada that offers it’s visitors an unforgettable opportunity for a unique under water experience . The Seascope is a semi Submarine that takes you four meters under the water surface where you will be surrounded by Corals and colored Fish. You will enjoy the beauty of the deep and take the opportunity for unique photographs.
You can see most famous corals, fish, and others marine life through large panoramic windows and on your own revolving chair (chairs are distributed on both sides of the seascope so what you’ll miss on your going ride you’ll definitely see on your return ride).
After enjoying the under water world, You will also have an opportunity to haggle your way to a souvenir at a vibrant Egyptian bazaar before taking the return journey to Safaga’s port.

SUNSET JEEP ADVENTURE Adult $99/Child $69

The vast expanses of the desert, the sunset over the dunes, a paradise for all photo and nature lovers and Arabian hospitality. These are all the ingredients of this half-day excursion with the added adrenalin rush of a jeep ride in an impressive setting. Leave the port and drive along a modern road taking you to the breathtaking desert landscape with photo stops on the way to capture images of shimmering mirages, strangely rocky outcrops and the glorious sunset. You will reach a camp to witness the Bedouins hospitality; you will be welcomed in their tent before exploring the site and see their tough living conditions. After a chance to observe how the Bedouin women knead the dough for their typical unleavened bread, you will also have the opportunity to try it hot from the fire and drink their sweet aromatic tea made from mineral water sitting on cushions. You will also learn that water for their daily life activities is drown from a nearby well surrounded by a few sturdy palm trees and is also where the livestock is watered. After this unique experience, board your jeep and return to the port. Please note: this tour is unsuitable for elderly people, guests with limited mobility, pregnant women or suffering from back/neck problems; the drive through the desert is very bumpy and dusty. Each jeep can accommodate a max. of 4 guests. Casual, comfortable attire, sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, a wind jacket and comfortable shoes are recommended. Without giving up all the comforts, this full-day excursion will surprise you not only with the location, but also with the tranquility and beauty of the place. Leave the port for a 30-minute coach drive to the Soma Bay Peninsula, located on the Eastern shores of the Red Sea Riviera. You will have plenty of time to profit on all the comforts of a luxury resort; a chance to achieve renewed harmony of mind, body and soul. Upon your arrival, you will be taken to your reserved area on the beach with sunbeds and parasol. You will have the opportunity to take advantage of the various facilities of the resort such as swimming and sunbathing. Water sport activities are not included but may be arranged with an extra cost to be paid directly at the resort’s water sport center. Taste a sumptuous buffet lunch and spend the rest of the day swimming, sunbathing or simply relaxing in this unique setting. The coach drive to the port will conclude your marine day. GIFTUN ISLAND HIDEAWAY Adult $179/Child $125

Declared a marine park a few years ago, the archipelago comprising the two Giftun islands is a paradise not only for nature lovers and sunbathers, but also for snorkellers. A bus trip of about an hour takes you to Hurghada from where you can take a boat to Mahmya beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. This will be the location for your day on the beach, relaxing in the sun, swimming in the clear waters and, for snorkeling enthusiasts, the starting point for dives into the spectacular underwater world. For those who choose to snorkel, an underwater world opens up with a beautiful coral reef with a myriad of fish and where, with a little luck, it is not uncommon to encounter stingrays and dolphins. A buffet lunch will be available at the island’s restaurants and sun mats and parasol are available on the beach. You may choose to swim and relax on its sandy beach or rejoin the boat for a snorkeling trip off the island. This magnificent experience concludes with boarding the boat and then with a coach drive to from Hurghada to Safaga and your ship. Please note: we recommend bringing yours. Comfortable walking shoes, swimming suit, a hat and sunscreen recommended. Snorkeling is optional; those who do not want to take part, can remain on the beach. RELAX ON THE RED SEA SHORES Adult $65/Child $45

Only one thing stands between you and a glorious half day at the seaside: a short coach ride from the port in Safaga to a popular resort hotel and its stretch of private beach. On arrival, you will be shown to your sun bed and umbrella, after which you can then do whatever takes your fancy. Apart from a chance to practice the fine art of doing nothing, go for a leisurely dip in the sea and work on your tan in the hotel’s appealing surroundings, you can also take advantage of various entertaining beach activities (at extra cost). Or perhaps you’d like to channel your inner Jacques Cousteau? Then snorkeling along the extended house reef or going scuba diving at one of various nearby diving spots will give you a close-up look at the many eye-catching inhabitants of the Red Sea’s amazing underwater wonderland. QUAD BIKING ADVENTURE Adult $92/Child Not Applicable

Who said that a visit to Egypt is basically about visiting archaeological sites or relaxing on the beach? This half-day excursion will make you change your mind and discover that adrenaline, adventure and fun can easily be found in the desert dunes. If you like little adrenaline rush served up with your suntan then this is most definitely the trip for you. Drive to the Quad Centre and get all the notions needed to drive a quad safely before starting your adventure bouncing on the desert dunes. Being a part of a convoy of quad bikes, have fun and drive across golden dunes and cruising round the foot of rugged mountains. A stop is also scheduled at a Bedouin tent where you’ll get a cup of tea and a discover the Bedouin culture. Please note: this tour is unsuitable for elderly people and for guests suffering from respiratory problems, back/neck problems, limited mobility and for pregnant women. Min. age to take part: 16 years. Comfortable shoes, sunscreen, trousers, a scarf and sunglasses recommended. Shorts, flips, hats and contact lenses are not allowed as well as personal belongings. Drinking alcohol before or during the ride is forbidden. The Quad leader will provide information during the stops. Make sure to wear your swimwear and to bring your towels before leaving the ship and then all you have to do is to choose the attractions which perfectly fit your family. Your stay at the park will also include open snack and open soft and hot drinks in some specific area and at fixed hours, so make sure not to miss the perfect time to take a snack.
